Experimental AI - answers are comedy, not advice

The rules. There are fewer than her house rules.

What this is

Ask Your Jewish Mother (jewishmother.app) is a comedy and entertainment website. Mom and Grandma are original comic characters. The answers are generated for humor - some warmth, some guilt, the occasional surprisingly useful nugget.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is medical, legal, financial, psychological, or any other kind of professional advice. For anything that touches your health, your money, your family, or the law, talk to a qualified professional - then call your real mother and tell her what they said.

We are not responsible for decisions you make based on what a fictional grandmother tells you. She would also like it noted that she told you so.

Your account

You need an account to save conversations. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your questions and answers are stored in your account for you. You own what you write. You can delete your account and its data at any time.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to create content that is illegal, that harasses or targets real people, that sexualizes minors, or that promotes violence or hate. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, and we report genuinely dangerous content where the law requires it.

Do not scrape, resell, or use the service to build a competing product.

Payments

Donations support the site and are not payments for a specific product. Rosh Hashanah cards and other paid items are digital goods delivered through the site.

If something goes wrong with a payment or a purchase, contact support@jewishmother.app and we will make it right.

Our content

The characters, the writing, the design, and the site itself belong to jewishmother.app. You may share links and answers freely - that is rather the point - but the characters and the site itself may not be copied or reused commercially without permission.

The service is provided as is

The site is provided as is and as available. We work hard to keep it up and funny, but we do not guarantee it will always be either. To the maximum extent permitted by law, jewishmother.app is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page. Questions, problems, or a nice word: support@jewishmother.app.
